- An introduction of attendees was completed. Those in attendance were: Patty Soran, Freda Reed, Cara Brown,
Debbie Dukes, Bea Hankins and Isabel Flook.
- An overview of what has been happening with the organization was given by Patty. Briefly we lost our
president, secretary and haven’t had a meeting for months. Patty organized the February education opportunity by herself
(and help from the pediatric nurses at St. Al’s) and no pediatric nurses attended. We need to get more active or disband.
- Election of officers:

- Updating of the membership list will be revisited as not a large turnout was seen. Freda will contact
nurses at St. Luke’s and see if they still are interested in being members.
- Goals for the next 6 months were discussed.

February conference- dinner speaker on Childhood Obesity Patty will
contact some potential speakers and get back to us on the details.

Luke’s is holding a Certification review course

October – a dinner sponsored by a drug company (RSV?)

Keep dues at $10 a year

Have dues go from Jan to Jan so we don’t have to prorate (will
need to change the Bylaws)

Offer a larger discounts on education opportunities (i.e. $10 members
$20 non members)

Cara will talk with nurses in Nampa
and Caldwell hospitals to see if there
is an interest to join.

Freda will speak at the January staff meeting at St. Luke’s
to encourage membership
